A racing enthusiast for as long as he can remember, Brett Lupton began his career racing karts and speedway sedans, before working as a mechanic for several prominant racing teams in the UK, US and New Zealand, and on a variety of cars, including formula 3s and formula 1s. In 1992 he moved to Perth and started Fastlane Racing, a racing team that has since produced many state and national champions on the Australian Formula Ford Circuit.
